FLAG is asking Warwickshire - Highways and Flood Risk Management Team - to carry out work to improve the flooding situation in the village. At present, the focus is on two issues: getting the tarmac at the Lower Street junction lowered so that water can flow away down Moor Lane and having silt and bulrush rhizomes removed from the culverts and brook.
Locally, there are 12 flood wardens who will do all they can to support residents in the event of serious flooding. The group has produced a leaflet for residents about what to do in a flood situation and Bert Ogle, the Chair, has written a short, informative report on the impact of flooding on residents. Both documents are on this website under Plans/Surveys.
