Annual Community Meeting

Our annual meeting is at 7.00 pm in the Village Hall. The purpose of the meeting is to celebrate community successes over the past year or so and to discuss matters that residents would like to raise, including concerns and possible future projects. More information about the meeting will be in the Willoughby Monthly, on Facebook, on this website, and on the noticeboard in April.

Proposed New Local Plan

The Preferred Options Draft Plan March 2025 has been published and will run from 2024 - 2045. It will go out for consultation towards the end of March.

The map on page 7 gives an overview of allocations. Pages 14 and 15 list the proposed locations for residential and employment sites and the maps in the appendices provide more detailed information about allocations.

New Councillor
Grahame Ash

We are delighted that Grahame has agreed to join the Parish Council. He was co-opted onto the Parish Council at the meeting on 4 February 2025. We now have five councillors after a lengthy period with only four.


Grahame moved to Willoughby in late November 2024 and lives at Manor Farm Barns. He was both a parish councillor and a district councillor in Oxfordshire before moving abroad some years ago. You will have the opportunity to meet Grahame at Parish Council meetings and at the Annual Community Meeting.

Parish Council Meeting in February 2025

The meeting due to be held on 11 February will take place on 4 February at 7.00pm in the Village Hall instead.


You are very welcome to attend to ask questions or to raise issues you think the Parish Council may be able to help with. Or, you may just wish to find out what

happens at a meeting.

Police Budget Consultation 2025/26

The Police and Crime Commissioner is consulting on the Police budget for 2025/26. The survey asks how much extra, if anything, you would be willing to pay for local policing next year (2025/26). All residents are encouraged to complete the survey as this will impact council tax bills.
