The proposed Submission Plan has been published. Please click on Read More to find out more about RBC meetings relevant to the public consultation and submission of the Plan for the examination in public.

The draft Submission Plan, which does not include Lodge Farm, was considered by the RBC Cabinet on 6 January. At the meeting, it was recommended that the full Council approve a six week consultation on the Plan and subsequent submission to the Secretary of State. The full Council meeting was originally to be held on 21 January but, after the Conservative group decided they wished to make amendments at the last minute, the Labour group asked for the decision to be ‘called in’ by the Scrutiny Committee for consideration. This meeting will be held on 21 January at 6.00pm. You can find the agenda  at www.rugby.gov.uk/web/guest/l/62459588

The full Council meeting to consider the Submission Plan will now be held on 27 January. The link to the Live stream is www.rugby.gov.uk/web/guest/l/62077913. As yet, there is no agenda. If the consultation on the Plan and submission to the Secretary of State is approved, the consultation should start on 30 January for six weeks. The consultation will invite comments on the Plan’s soundness and legal compliance. After considering feedback, RBC will submit the finalised plan to the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government via the Planning Inspectorate.
