Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

The Parish Council is going to plant a tree in the playing field with a commemorative plaque as part of the Queen's Green Canopy and will provide Jubilee mugs for children in the parish as part of the celebrations.

The Willoughby Society, the Thursday Club and the Church have all come forward with ideas to celebrate the Jubilee in June. If other groups or individuals are planning activities that residents could join in with, it would be great if you could let Malcolm Lewis know so that we can work together to provide a wonderful celebration in the village for this unique event.
